I have two seperate 1-node clusters which I want to merge into 1 cluster only. Is there a procedure for that please?

No, it’s not possible.
You can backup/restore app instances from one cluster to the other.

An interesting Scenario. IF the backup and restore were to be done automatically, Technically speaking wouldn’t this be referred to as Merge Nodes…
Ofcourse not a realistic Need scenario, Maybe version 10.2

I agree, and would even call it a “merge clusters” when the steps are done manually. Because it still achieves the merge.
As e.g. you also don’t say that it is not possible to install ns8, just because it is involving manual steps…
