If I add file extension like a .FLV .MPEG .WMV .MOV .mp3 .mp4 and ete… , it means, Block Multimedia Streaming (website movies online ) ?

Indeed if to open a link that plays a video in flv format, mpg and these extensions are blocked should not open.

Hi

Here is my list of blocked file extension

exe,vbs,mts,bat,com,sys,avi,flv,mpeg,wmv,mov,mp3,mp4,aac,webm,vorbis,dif,divx,mpv2,ogg,qt,wav,wma,wmf

But I can not block some website video

.

What kind of extension that they used?

@Ya_Ley these pages and should be blocked, are pornos pages, I can not find the logic, to leave non-blocking, and only block the extensions of your videos

You check if you have this selected this option in each web content filter?

Hi

I am edit and add some parameters in file configure squidGuard.conf and
file /var/squidGuard/blacklists/custom/builtin/expressions by manual
and next day the config files were roll back to default as I was configure in Nethserver web interface. How to fix ?

Before making manual changes, make a backup of the original file. Then it executes:

signal-event nethserver-squidguard-save

you mean, first executes the command " signal-event nethserver-squidguard-save" and then making manual changes, after that the config files “squidGuard.conf” and file in “/var/squidGuard/blacklists/custom/builtin/expressions” won’t be rollback again, right?

anyway, about filters file “.mp3” some website can be bypass filters(can listens and download file mp3)

For the command “signal-event nethserver-squidguard-save” ,it is not work( I edited the files and run the command and restart services, then checking the files, it is lose all parameters that I added.
