How the forum works?

Is there anywhere a description how this forum is working? I’m thinking about a central point where to find

  • an index of badges
  • which forum-software is used
  • how to post for example bold text or code
; Maximum size of POST data that PHP will accept.
; Its value may be 0 to disable the limit. It is ignored if POST data reading
; is disabled through enable_post_data_reading.
; default: post_max_size = 8M
post_max_size = 100M
  • what does the trust levels mean
  • an overview about all categories with description.

I know the most points are already described, but I mean at one central point.

PS: A description about trust-levels I found here:

Well, the basic formatting things (bold, italic, links) are done in the editor toolbar, but preformatted text is a notable exception–and getting it to preformat without doing the (apparently-random) syntax highlighting is more obscure yet. There really should be a link from the editor window to a guide to the formatting syntax, especially since it doesn’t use bbcode, like just about every other forum in existence.

Honestly not a big fan of Discourse, but it does seem to be teh new hawtness in forums.

You can find all the badges here
https://community.nethserver.org/badges

Is it necessary?

Discobot helps every new user to use Discourse

You’re right  would you mind creating a new post collecting all needed info?

If you want to know how to format a post and you can’t find it at the description you can search by Google with the name of the forum-software

Can I ask him to send the PM again?

I can try to collect some points, but some things I didn’t know also, for example how to show other people how to post code.
