Hel me pls, I can’t install the driver Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Device 125c.
Hi,
and welcome to NethServer community.
If it’s about NethSecurity, Intel network adapters should be supported.
From Google AI:
OpenWrt 125c likely refers to a device with an Intel network adapter identified by the PCI ID 8086:125C. OpenWrt, a Linux distribution, has support for this device. Specifically, the Intel 2.5G PCIe network adapter (VEN_8086 DEV_125C) is fully supported by OpenWrt when using the kernel 5.10.176.
For USB devices the installation is explained in Network interfaces — NethSecurity documentation
This not usb network adapter. i want install Nethserver 7.
Nethserver 7 and its underlying OS, CentOS 7, have been EOL since June 2024, nearly a year ago. Installing either is not recommended…
that is, there are no options for installing network drivers
There are the same “options for installing network drivers” that there are on any other CentOS 7 installation. Which, again, you shouldn’t be using as it’s been EOL for nearly a year, and is no longer receiving security updates of any kind.
I have to confirm what @danb35 said, but if you want absolutely to install Nethserver 7 with CentOS 7 as base, you can try to disable secure boot like mentioned in the following thread:
Or you can install Proxmox and Nethserver 7 as a Virtual Machine.
