Hi Folks,
I’m really grateful for this community. So many helpful people and great information here on the forums.
I’ve seen a number of older posts about various GeoIP blocking techniques on previous versions of Nethserver. What is the current recommended method?
Thanks!
Ted

It would be great, if the Threat Shield GUI would offer an extra field to download this list.

I managed to skip the all important parenthetical (appropriately renamed)!
Here’s my quick summary in case it helps the next person:
-
Install Threat Shield
-
# cd /usr/share/nethserver-blacklist/ipsets/
# wget <yourblocklist>
# mv <yourblocklist>.zone <yourblocklist>.ipset
-
Enable your blocklist in the IP filters section of the Threat Shield GUI

when you use the firehol list https://github.com/firehol/blocklist-ipsets.git I I can see a folder /usr/share/nethserver-blacklist/ipsets/ipdeny_country
with a list of ipset from ipdeny
:-?
However it seems old : The following list was automatically generated on Wed Dec 4 12:29:54 UTC 2019.
