Netherser enterprise

I can transformed it’s to free edition?

  • Which version of enterprise do you use?
  • Which modules do you need?

I think the easiest way would be to do a new installation and copy the data.

AFAIK Enteprise version have some “premium value” (citation necessary) modules that are not available community version.

Version 6.10 is very old and no longer supported.
What services does that Nethserver provide?

Yes, you can do that.

But, since you’re an Enterprise customer, I think it’s better to open a ticket for this kind of things.

Ok, however, nothing prevents the hotel from putting a free version by removing the paid one

Again, if the hotel is using modules from the Enterprise version and rely on them for operating, these modules won’t be available into community one. The first one is NethVoice, which… Is quite a bit easier to use than FreePBX.

Also, support will be accessible only with subscription.

This is clear, but if you want, you can use the same free distribution for the hotel only with the modules necessary for the network hotspot and the vpn?
