I have plan to go to FOSDEM, but I’m a bit late on booking the flight!

me too, just started to look the flight today
either I come early, around 8:45h in bruxels, go back sunday 21:05 or other fly could be friday 19:55, fly back sunday 15:45
there will be people I know to chill Friday in town or at the centos dojo ?
the dojo centos is friday 3 february, stating at 08:30

I land at 9 a.m. on Friday and I take off at 9 p.m. on Sunday

I’m pleased to confirm that many Nethesis developer are heading to FOSDEM this year.
We will arrive on Friday afternoon and leave on Sunday evening.
So for sure we are going to book a room for a community meeting on Saturday afternoon.
We will keep you posted here and inside the telegram channel.

I can come over but only for the saturday. On sunday I already have my agenda booked full.
So count me in for Saturday and the NethServer Spareribs dinner in the evening. After dinner I will return home.

I am having a hard time finding affordable accommodation in/near Brussels for saturday to sunday. Tried 2 airb&b options, but no response.
Anyone has a couch to crash on as an offer?

Compared to Davos, still cheap…
Non WEF times, a typical 3* hotel can cost around 100 bucks for a night…
During WEF, if you’re NOT a head of state, it only costs 20’000…
As head of state, it’s in the 6 digits range - privacy and security costs…
