Was reading about this project I didn’t knew about, even when it has some years on its back. It works as a Cockpit plugin.
Fleet Commander is an application that allows you to manage the desktop configuration of a large network of users and workstations/laptops. It is primarily targeted to Linux systems based on the GNOME desktop.
Christian Schaller says in the Fedora Workstation 26 and beyond blog post:
This is a tool targeted at for instance Universities or companies with tens, hundreds or thousands of workstation installation. It gives you a graphical browser based UI (accessible through Cockpit) to create configuration profiles and deploy across your organization.
It has integartion with FreeIPA, and in the future will also support Active Directory.
