Please take one step at a time, involve all your collegues and simply present your ideas. Get enough quorum to get approval and support for your plans. Convince them and your boss. Make sure it is clear it is your initiative and effort going forward with full (provable) support from all involved.

@LayLow That is exactly the approach I’m taking. I have a MikroTik unit nearly ready for production, which will allow me to reconfigure the primary router and overhaul the server and virtual machines. The previous use of KMS Pico has triggered malware alerts across all workstations and the server, so a full cleanup is necessary.
I need to step out again shortly; finding local technical support has been difficult, but I’ll keep trying. Beyond the technical side, I am also actively seeking financial support from companies and organizations to cover my wife’s upcoming surgery. I’ll be heading to the hospital later today. Today was a terrible day; I didn’t accomplish anything. I’m only $160 short of the $500 I need, but I spoke with the supervisor at the office. The systems manager, a girl from finance (I don’t know the exact relationship), will be back from vacation in two days, but she’s the one in charge and authorizes the necessary purchases. Anyway, I’m planning to install NethServer 8 and NethSecurity.
Today I’m returning home after several weeks in the hospital due to a lack of oxygen to my brain. I almost lost my job because of the absences. It’s been difficult to maintain my health. I’m paying off my parents’ debts.
