EU adopted articles 11, 12a and 13 on copyright. What does this mean for this community

Yesterday, Wednesday september 12 the EU parliament adopted the “linktax” and “upload filter” resolutions. IMO these are the worst imaginable legislations ever and completely destroy free internet in Europe.
It means that you can NOT link to copyrighted material anymore without having written permission (either payed or consent) by the author of the material.
More info on these acts are in a comment by EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2018/09/today-europe-lost-internet-now-we-fight-back

As it stands now, every platform risks to get forced to pay for every link to copyrighted material that is found on their platform.

I am sad. It feels as if I have lost my freedom. Freedom to speak, to debate, to discuss, to comment on news and opinions of others.
