Duplicity Concurrent Backup error

NethServer Version: 7.2003
Module: Backup

Hey Nethserver Community!

I’m having an issue with my Duplicity backups. They are failing every day with the message that a concurrent backup is in progress.
The log doesn’t really go into any further details so I’m wondering if I’m looking at the right logs.

This server has been in-place upgraded from the previous release (19xx) and I’m wondering if the previous backup configured in the old management interface is interferring with it (I’m using cockpit now).

Any help on where to start looking (log wise) to start finding the issues?

So the log is set on Cockpit to backup to a CIFS share every day at 06:00. Access to the share isn’t an issue and I’ve tried killing any duplicity processes and clearing the lockfile in /var/local/…

Thanks again

UPDATE
So I logged into the old management interface and confirmed that there were no backups configured. I also had a loog at the logviewer in there and noticed this:

Soooooo. My backup is actually working? So where is the duplicate then?

Please check the backups db, maybe there’s a “hidden” backup:

db backups show

Okay, so I checked the DB. There was another backup in there but it was disabled. I removed it anyways.

At this point in time it seems like the error has cleared itself up (Prior to removing the disabled job) as I haven’t received any more emails claiming that the backup failed (and the logs show successes).

So thanks for the help .
