NethServer Version: 7.3.1611Module: dovecot
Hi,
I created 6 users in Nethserver, and I use local LDAP Accounts Provider.
The first three users work just fine, but the last three users can’t login to IMAP.
auth: pam_sss(dovecot:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty=dovecot ruser=rgb@xxxx.com rhost=127.0.0.1 user=rgb@xxxx.com
auth: pam_sss(dovecot:auth): received for user rgb@xxxx.com: 6 (Permission denied)
I’m not quite sure what is happening, or where else to look.

Built two more systems. Same thing, though sometimes no users were able to log in. All three used local LDAP authentication. I’ll try one more with Active Directory and see how that looks. AD is a bit heavy though.

Using Samba AD, and everything seems to work just fine.
Dovecot LDAP issue?

What is your IMAP client? Is it in local LAN or remote?
