Hello,

I am looking for a simple reliable free solution for checking multiple different domain SSL certificate expiry and send emails prior 7 days.

I already setup a zabbix virtual server for this and it feels like an overkill for the purpose. Since I have NethServer running, it would be quite nice to use something in NethServer and drop zabbix virtual server completely.

What I need is to check the SSL certificate for any mis-configuration (missing intermediate certificates or broken chain) or soon to expire/already expired domain alerts by email (Gmail as mail server would be nice).

There are a lot of cert tools on Github, for example GitHub - juliojsb/jota-cert-checker: Check SSL certificate expiration date of a list of sites.

NS8 provides such a function too (for its own certs) via the metrics app, see also Metrics and alerts — NS8 documentation
