I am still enjoying Nethserver and Webtop after quite a few years. I can’t thank the developers and community enough.
I have a quick question regarding switching off activesync legacy ids as shown in the latest nethserver-devel docs. I have the latest Nethserver V7.
I am having a few issues with certain devices and have used z-push-admin.php with some success, but I think it might be time to try disabling the legacy ids.
If I do this:
config setprop webtop ActiveSyncLegacyIds disabled
rm -rf /var/log/z-push/state/*
signal-event nethserver-webtop5-update
I assume each device simply gets a new id and will then re-sync with Webtop.
Is there any chance a user might lose any email/contacts etc from this change?
Should I be telling my users to back up their contacts etc before disabling activesync legacy ids?
