Hey guys today I learnt something interesting and you ?

Well, I learned that this guy (whoever he is) thinks that some people are dumb enough to think that TCP/IP is the only networking protocol, and apparently that Ethernet over UTP is the only wire protocol. But then I still remember AppleTalk, Token Ring, Thin and Thick Ethernet.

Now, whether anyone actually uses anything other than IP/Ethernet any more is another question…

Ethercat is interessting without IP it is Realtime over Ethernet. Make old times modern :wink:
