Diagnostics SpeedTest: Cannot retrieve speedtest configuration

v7

(Christian Plaza) #1

Hello…

How I can test the speed… what kind of parameters I have to put.?

(Marc) #2

You can run it without any additional parameter.
If you want to use a specific speedtest server you can searh for its id:

Edit: I see you get an error:

Cannot retrieve speedtest configuration
ERROR: <urlopen error [Errno 99] Cannot assign requested address>

If it happens after retying it, you could specify a server id from https://www.speedtestserver.com/, but it seems the error happens before the retrieval of the server-list

why is this error…??? what ID I have to put.?

Retrieving speedtest.net configuration…
Cannot retrieve speedtest configuration
ERROR: <urlopen error [Errno 99] Cannot assign requested address>

You can try with “6680” id, but I think it will also fail.
Searching logs for speedtest may give some clues.

do you have php-scl installed with php7 for the whole server ?

speedtest is workable on my server
