Yes, the account can be anonymized, so any post you created or answered to , will remain visible without leaving orphaned posts or losing context, but with your account data anonymized.
If you are sure about it, please confirm it and the account will be anonymized asap by an admin or moderator.
If there’s any post holding personal info you made publicly available that is not directly tied to the account , you probably still could edit it before confirming the account anonymization…
You can also export/download the account data from your profile, if you want to.
Can you tell why you want to leave the forum? No obligation, of course, just to make us aware of any potential issue.
