Would it be possible to integrate Defguard in to Nethsecurity?
It is possible to run Defguard under OPNSense.

what do you mean by integrate sir.
do you mean the implementation of the vpn service, or authentication offered within it.
The Defguard architecture: Architecture | defguard
The part expected to run on the firewall is the Defguard Gateway.
This is the network component that actually runs the VPN and handles communication with the Defguard Core (which could run for example on the Nethserver).
Defguard should be European NIS2 compliant.
(We didn’t get an approval for OpenVPN with passwords.)
There’s a package for OPNSense (FreeBSD) but not OpenWRT, see Releases · DefGuard/defguard · GitHub
But there’s already a discussion about OpenWRT support.
Yes, the general tar.gz package for Linux should run on x86 OpenWRT. Or You can compile it…
Package for OpenWRT and Nethsecurity would be nice and it is a ultimate VPN solution with identity management, policy enforcement, and secure access provisioning. So a possibility for a optional (option to install and turn it on) integration with Nethsecurity would be great.
Actually the gateway is available here: Releases · DefGuard/gateway · GitHub
