@dan And the next social-justice-warrior who needs to defend the post, because of “humanitarian reasons”…
Yes, most forums have a “offtopic” section, but this guy is spreading his personal matters over the whole site, not restricting himself to the “offtopic” section. I´m seeing it like @alefattorini : there is a place for his grief but here isn´t this place.
But every sane opinion get´s rejected by some ideological extremists, because it theoretical may hurt someones feelings somewhere.
I don’t want fights between you, thank you for those who support me and supported me
I understand your perspective, but I stand by my position:
- I acknowledge my mistake: I’ve already publicly apologized for overstepping the community’s boundaries.
- Actions over words: I’m making amends by developing a NethServer management application as a concrete technical contribution.
- Respecting the community: If my presence causes disruption despite my technical contributions, I’ll understand any moderation decisions. I wasn’t aware of prior blocks.
I’ll continue developing this project on GitHub. It’s a labor of love for the community that supported me and those who still believe in me.
I understand people’s frustration. As someone navigating daily challenges in Venezuela, I’m accustomed to ‘stumbling forward.’ If this isn’t my space anymore, I accept that. My commitment to NethServer remains – whether here or from afar.
I have no other way to respond to you than through WhatsApp or Telegram. I’ll stop posting here in the community. For those who supported me and continue to support me, don’t be upset by my actions. It’s just that I don’t want to feel this way again. And I think it’s for the best. I’ll support you from outside the community.
