Voortzetting van de discussie File system hierarchy:
Hi @davidep. Thanks for clearing that up.
What if (in my case a Zentyal 3.2 server) needs to move to NS7. On Zentyal all data resides under /home
Even Samba shares reside there: /home/samba/{share}
I have a separate partition for /home on Zentyal. How should I implement that partition on the new NS install (in this case on the same hardware)?
On NS7 the /home directory is bind-mounted to /var/lib/nethserver/home. Therefore you could use them both!
You could also mount the separate disk on /var/lib/nethserver/homeβ¦

Actualy the partition is a mdadm raid1 volume. So if I choose the advanced install option and mount that volume as /var/lib/nethserver/home, I only have to fiddle with ACLs and ownership and I should be set?..
Sounds reasonable, but I never tested it!
We need to test such scenario, Iβd like to help people to switch from their Zentyal installations
