Configuring backup on smb share

NethServer Version: 7.9.2009

Hi guys,

I’m newest to nethserver (but i see it works very well!), and I want to configure a backup on a smb share, i’m on active directory; here’s my configuration on web gui:

smb share: folder
smb host: ip address (i’ve tried to insert the name wich I use to mount shares with command, but didn’t work)
smb login: user
smb password: password

when I click “check” it show this in console:
CIFS VFS: Send error in SessSetup = -13
CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -13
CIFS VFS: Send error in SessSetup = -13
CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -13

can anyone help me? I’ve searched but I didn’t found any solutions.

More info about the SMB share you want to use for backup, please.

it’s a SMB share on active directory domain controller that I use to access to my data.
I enter in it with my usr and pw in my domain.
for example

SMB share: my-folder
SMB host: //name-of-host
SMB login: user
SMB password: password

AD is windows machine or a SAMBA AD?
For any of the two, at least OS or samba version, if possible.

It’s a SAMBA domain controller with NethServer7.09.2009, the version of SAMBA is 4.16.5
If I try with a normal windows share, it works
