During the event I think we should have a reasonably direct contact with all participants. I don’t know if a constant video stream will be effective or efficient. Maybe a chat channel would be better (on mattermost/telegram/IRC)

In fact this is the simplest starting point for a new developer, a web application is simple, create a mysql database, make a apache conf, make the web application configuration (adjust mysql settings for example). Something better is to take a web application from EPEL (you won’t care about update, others will work for you) and just do the work to do all configurations needed

Good. We should suggest those two examples as a good starting point for new contributors.

There are still many great applications that are a great addition to NethServer funtionality, but lack a 1-command or 1-click install.

Let’s move forward with this, how can we solve this problem? Can we try using the Telegram channel?
So we don’t need a separated place?

I know the most productive way would be to have this in a real life session, (for instance at a community congress or at something like FOSDEM) but I also understand that this is very hard to accomplish.
