Tested on 2 Firefox from 2 machines.

I will see for test a recent version.

It works with last Firefox version but it does not work with Firefox 56.0.2 (last with addons compatibility before break).

And Firefox 70 is current. This could be your problem.

It works with Waterfox 2019.11. Waterfox is a fork which support NPAPI and XCOM extensions/plugins.
