Hi, was trying to update marketplace and apps but could not progress until I clear cache. I cleared it but still getting same error message. Does anyone have a fix? Thanks.

My guess is that you hit this error which flashes on the screen first and is then replaced by the one you see.

I did a rebuild (just for the heck of it) and installed market apps one at a time. It is slow going but seems the Clear YUM Cache error message went away. Cheers
You can always clean yum cache from command line :
yum clean all

I think i have the same error with the latest batch of updates. I did a yum clean all from command line, and yum update. There are several errors flagged in the output of running the yum update command. Here is the output:

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
it is the same issue as it was discussed before.

I noticed this clear cache issue comes up and won’t go away when I tried to add “Monitoring and inventorying” from the marketplace. Other times, the clear cache notification goes away after I clear cache and reboot.

I got the same result gecco posted, with the remaining error message about winexe.
