Change storage path for shares

Do you know how to modify the storage path? I want my shared folders to be stored on another drive. Thank you.

And welcome to the Nethserver forum!

Easiest way is eg creating a symlink at /var/lib/nethserver/ibay/, pointing to your prepared disk. I’d suggest to use XFS, as NethServer also uses XFS by default.

You will need to manually move the data / files.

No templates for e-smith are needed.

Actually, I just enlarge the disks using the slider in Proxmox… No modifications on the system…

None of my 30 clients use “native installs” on hardware for a long time now - the last one virtualized 7 years ago…
