We need to block some websites (Facebook and YouTube) in transparent mode. It’s possible to block websites in transparent mode. We are using Thin Client machines (Windows, Ubuntu).
We are using domain controller for user management
Yes, it’s possible with the Web Content Filter:

Also web content filter applicable for particular user group, when we use transparent mode. So how to block particular website for particular user group or user in nethserver.
Our query just very simple, We block some websites for particular usergroup or particular user. We tried authentication mode but the internet getting very slow and some https websites loading very long.
Kindly help me to solve this issues.
For me working by selectin block http and https ports
It doesn’t work when you are logged into facebook or also when you are not logged-in?
It works all that you block in the filter of the web content filter.
You have to dismark Block HTTP and HTTPS ports.
