Backup Server for Domain Controller

Hi, I am trying to evaluate nethserver, to function as Directory server. I installed it configured it I could see the user details

Now like to check on the High availability options for nethserver, can I configure another Nether Server and have a backup domain controller
I checked in the options, but I have not seen any options for it
Is it possible to have a backup nethserver in my network for HP
Guidance and advice requested

this may a be a possibility for a poor man’s backup DC:

NethServer Hotsync [Needs Testing]

HotSync is a set of scripts that leverage NethServer backup to copy a snapshot of a NethServer over another one every 15 minutes. In case of a disaster, it’s possible to promote slave to master in a few minutes. We call it “Poor men HA”. It was used few times in production for the enterprise, and AFAIK it works quite well. I tried joining NS samba to Windows AD as DC, which will replicate AD but no sysvolrep and has to be tested:

Hello, i tested joining Nethserver/NSDC to a Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard and at least the joins worked. I used https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Joining_a_Samba_DC_to_an_Existing_Active_Directory as a starting point. I setup a new domain admin called superuser to make the joins. It should be possible, but the NethGui doesnt provide the option. I’m not sure how feasible it is to use Nethserver as backup DC.
