I think the real error is in the logs.

Maybe related:

After server restart rclone-webdav.service no longer works

Check your /etc/fstab and disk mounts: it seems your backup disk wasn’t mounted at boot time. If you followed the procedure documented at Backup and restore — NS8 documentation check if the configured disk is still attached, for instance: lsblk
