Backup in a Cloud from pCloud / Best Alternativ Tool to see Network Connects etc

NethServer Version: NS8
Module: divers
Hallo again, i think about to backup the ns8 system to a cloud, especial pCloud is one System what get my attention. First i thought i could backup the NS8 to a Servershare on the NS8 and then the Backup will at night to a NAS system, but this was not working. So i try to find a alternative way. Is this possible? Because the NS8 shows this:

as possibility.

Second… in the past we hat on NS7 an App… i think nmap or so for seeing the connections of the whole Network. Which one would be most similar to that on NS8?

I’m afraid pCloud doesn’t provide a supported connection like S3 or B2.

It’s still available:

Debian:

apt install nmap

Rocky:

dnf install nmap

Pity… so it is not possible to use the samba netshare, not possible to use some cloud service… any suggestions for trying some cloudservice?

installed it… but i guess there is no gui for watch it, right?

No, it’s working here.

Here are my backup destination settings:

pCloud uses it’s own clients so there’s no supported protocol but there are a lot of S3 providers. I use Contabo S3 for example.

I think it’s possible to do a local backup and sync it to pcloud but I recommend to use a supported provider.

Right, nmap is a command line utility. If you need a GUI, you could use Zenmap - Official cross-platform Nmap Security Scanner GUI

I’m using Strato-S3.

Please check the containers of the app instances that failed, for example loki1, maybe it’s a similar issue like here?

runagent -m loki1 podman ps -a

Two app backups seem to work, please try to just backup these 2 apps instead of all and check if the backup runs through.

i tried now to choose different backup from the apps but also if its always an error with the same apps.

i tried the runagent with the mail app, but i am not able to decide it is okay or not, this are the result of the mail1

i can do the runagent command also with the other apps what are not backupped if it is helpful.

The containers seem to be ok, there’s no hanging container.

Could you please share the logs of the backup process of the apps where the backup is not working?
