Backup data on Smb share now doesn't work

Good morning to all!
After a very long period the backup data now doesn’t work.
It seems that backup process start correctly, but after pre-backup-done it stops.
I tried to restart the server and check in the smb destination of the backup files is already avaible , and it’s all fine.
What can i check to try to understand what’s happening now?

Hello, i can’t really help but it seems i’m having trouble too. I think it may be related to the connection via SMB…

Did your problems began after an update?

I think the protocol version could be your problem.

Yes, it does, after an update.
Now i tried to move the destination folder to a synology nas with smb 3 protocol configured.
i will report results later!
