Good evening, is it possible to synchronise the Mail, Listmonk and Nextcloud apps from the main server to the backup server (rsync)?
I attempted to synchronise the Listmonk app, but now I am unable to start or uninstall it.

I have two identical servers and would like to use one of them solely as a backup. I tried to synchronise the app /home/listmonk1 local to /home/listmonk1 remote using rsync. Unfortunately, I can no longer start or uninstall the Listmonk app.
Hello sir, you could simpliy, joi the second server to a cluster, and have backups sent to the second server.
You could even backup, to both current and second server, Still within the safety net of NS.
Even if main server goes down, you could still access the files and data on the other server.
You could, much easie roption, implement s3 solution on second server and use it as backup destination.
Why do you solely need to us rsync, as a backup method?
