Alias for virtual Host

NethServer Version: 7.4
Module: Virtual Host

Hi,

Yesterday I recognized, that if I access my homepage, that is running on the Nethserver, via www.reukauff.eu, I get a 403. If i leave the www. (http://reukauff.eu) there is no problem.
How do I create an Alias for the Domain, so I can access my Homepage using both URLs?
I tried to add a hostname or a server alias but both have no result. What can I do?

Greeting

Does it help if you enter “www.reukauff.eu, reukauff.eu” in the virtual host names (FQDN) field?

Yes :slight_smile:
Too easy if you search for things like alias.

Hi @mrmarkuz and everyone. Please, let me to reopen this issue. Markus’ solution creates a new VirtualHost in conf file, when I’m thinking the right solution should be to add a ‘ServerAlias’ directive (that it may include wildcards!)
Apache ServerAlias reference Doc

<VirtualHost *:80>
DocumentRoot "/path/to/domainvhost"
ServerName domain.tld
ServerAlias anysubdomain.domain.tld   #(or *.domain.tld)

I can’t find any reference to the inclusion of this directive in the e-smith files and documentation, so I would like to know if it’s planned to be implemented or why it is not included. Thanks a lot.
