I was delighted to see that Matrix is available via the Software Center and tried it out right away. It makes a really good impression. But where can I configure administrative settings such as the mail server configuration?
Hmm… Emails don’t seem to be sending.
I tried entering my email address in the settings under personal data. It says that I will receive an email with further steps and instructions at the email address I entered, but the email hasn’t arrived. And there’s nothing in the mail app’s log either.
And when I simulate forgetting my password and then enter the email address of the user in question, I get a message saying that the email address cannot be found.
