Adding advanced routing ability to Nethserver

Hello,

As you already know, when I met Nethserver, I was searching for UTM Firewall/gateway.
In geral this type of appliance is ready to do router too.

Of course actually Nethserver can do the job but it lack advanced routing ability, like OSPF for redundancy and network load balancing.

What do you think about adding these functionnality whith Quagga and/or Bird

No it’s not hard.
We must think to do the task at best
And remember a good developper is a bit lazy, he works once and then it’s the machine that does the rest … :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:
