Help with advice.
Our company had one virtual server NS8 with AD samba and File Server on PVE. One department moved to another office (another building).
It was decided to make an exact copy of NS8=NS8pr.
Only the IP address was reconfigured on NS8pr in the new office. All clients (computers) started working with network drives without problems. New computers were added to AD normally.
Now NS8pr works perfectly.
How can I make NS8 and NS8pr have the same AD users? Is it possible to add NS8pr as a second NS8 domain controller? Is it possible to set up AD synchronization? Naturally, a Wireguard VPN connection is configured between NS8 and NS8pr.
Multi-DC including SysVol replication isn’t supported, this doesn’t mean it’s not possible but we’d need to work on it.
