AAAA email being bounced

any thoughts on the below please - most emails are being sent and Im not sure what the diagnostic approach is for bounced emails like this - the ipv6 flag AAAA confuses me also!

<Service@autosalesgroup.co.uk>: Host or domain name not found. Name service

error for name=10mail4.hostinguk.net type=AAAA: Host not found

<varron.mccurdy@autosalesgroup.co.uk>: Host or domain name not found. Name

service error for name=10mail4.hostinguk.net type=AAAA: Host not found

The explanation is simple, there are no hosts, neither A nor AAAA record.

Hi Volker
My DNS skills are a bit shabby. Am i right that you are saying they have DNS entries (A records / AAAA records) missing for their mail server/s. If this is the case i will drop them an email (lol) to advise that they have wrecked their DNS config as well as wrecking my car
thanks
Alex

Yes, that’s exactly it.
