🎄 A Sincere Christmas Message for the NethServer Community

Dear NethServer Community,

With the joy that comes with the start of December, I send you my most sincere wishes for a month filled with prosperity, good health, and much family love for each and every one of you.

This is a special time for reflection. While I will be continuing development at half pace during these weeks, it is for a beautiful and personal reason: I need to gather funds to provide my children with a peaceful Christmas, ensuring they have their simple gifts and don’t lose the true spirit of the holidays. My biggest wish is to spend these special days with my parents and the rest of my family.

I want you to know that, despite the reduction in my work pace, my spirit remains with you. Truly, I send hugs and best wishes to all of you, from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you infinitely for everything you have done for me! Your support, knowledge, and warmth make this community a real gift.

I wish you all happy holidays and a prosperous end to the year.

Today we feel somewhat sad because of all the difficulties in providing for my parents’ food and healthcare, medical expenses, and emergencies.

But what my parents taught me is the greatest gesture: giving without expecting anything in return.

Even in these difficult times, my mother and father wanted to give me a chicken to make for dinner a few days ago. I didn’t accept it so they could keep it. They told me, “There are two of us here, and you are four,” but I told them, “We are family, and we all help each other.”

And their wise words: no matter how we are, without money, with poor health, we must always have hope that everything will be alright. God always blesses everyone equally and sees our actions.

This won’t be the best Christmas ever, and I don’t think I’m the only one in the world in this situation, or worse.

What I’m trying to say is this:

We are happy because we have a purpose in life, we have something to do, a change to achieve, to leave a mark, and you have left me with the best mark of my life. Thank you to @mrmarkuz and @capote and everyone who has helped me through these moments.

My family and I wish you the best Christmas ever, and that this Christmas Eve, when you see your children, siblings, and parents, you will say to them: “You are the best thing in my life, the greatest Christmas gift. You are my greatest feeling.”

And a very special thank you to @Andy_Wismer Andy’s family. He was like a brother to me, a friend, and a beacon of light and life. I don’t have any friends I can confide in, and I’ve never done so to elicit pity. Only you know how I’m feeling, and my father and mother know nothing of my pain and sorrow.

I want to hug you and thank you abundantly and with love.

I apologize for forgetting @alefattorini @stephdl @giacomo @davidep There are many who welcomed me, and they are all special. , who accepted me into the community from the very beginning. It was a great joy for me to have a Nethserver t-shirt from him, and he showed me how to become a partner back then. I apologize again for causing any distress or hurting anyone’s feelings. I love you all like a brother would, and if I had the chance, I would support you wholeheartedly.

Why do you keep apologizing for something that is simply human nature? You don’t have to. I really admire how you are coping with this desperate situation despite the adversities.
