Since the start, such project are wery good for the Raspberry Pi…
And it was a long time, I not looking this project:

And I was really surprised with the graphical interface and all the statistics.

Do you think it’s easily adaptable to Nethserver?

This could be a caveat:

How do I configure my devices to use Pi-hole as their DNS server?

It looks like pi-hole needs to be your DNS server for the local network;
if this is true it will be hard to implement in to NS.

Did you try to run it along Nethserver?

I’m curious to know if it’s installable « as is » without conflict with the squid filtering service.

Unfortunately it isn’t, it needs to be your local DNS/DHCP server:

I really like the idea of pi-hole but it take control of the whole server and this behavior doesn’t play well with NS, as @Jclendineng correctly pointed out. I’d say quite big. I like the idea behind containers (Spethane and Davide are trying to integrate Docker). But when you have a container, it’s like a black box. I’d rather work with pi-hole developers and try to integrate is inside NethServer (including the awesome web interface!).
