2 LANs, DHCP and IPs

NethServer Version: 7.9.2009
Module: dhcp

Hi!

I need some help getting working this server. I have 3 NICs - red one for WAN, green for LAN and green for WLAN.
For LAN I have 192.168.0.1/22 IPs with DHCP and a reserved IPs in 192.168.0.xx range.
For WLAN I have 192.168.6.1/24 IPs with DHCP. I have 8 CISCO APs and for the life of me I don’t understand why 6 of them keep getting IP’s from the LAN’s pool. This makes them not meshing into one network.

Thank you!

Hi

Try using RED for both WANs, not WAN in GREEN!

Sorry, my mistake - it should have been WLAN. Corrected. Thank you!

Hi

If possible, click on solution at the bottom right of your post.
It might help others in the same situation!

If you could please look again on the problem, it was a typo. It is corrected now.

OK, understood - not solved (yet)…

Still a typo (probably - 2 WANs there…)…

Use a BLUE Network for your WLans / APs…

Question? You want your WLAN visible to your LAN?

If you dont use a BlueNetWork.

If you want them to see each other create a VLAN with that 192.168.6.x and bind your A.P. to that Vlan.

I’ve set the WLAN to blue, indeed. The problem was a misallocation at the start of the server. After flushing the DHCP, and a little fiddling with the IPs and disabling IP6, the APs took the correct IPs from the allocated pool and the installation went on flawlessly.

Thank you!
