Hi David
Welcome to the community!
This post is over 5 years old…
And NethServer has done a LOT of work to make things easier!
For the problem of Administring your AD (Old machine accounts) you can use RSAT from Microsoft (Available for Win7 & Win10), or, even easier, Stephdl’s PHPLDAPadmin Module:
Note:
To really do any administration, you’ll need to activate “kamikaze” mode!
A screenshot from my Home NethServer / AD:
As you can see on the left, there are 4 domainmembers shown, including the NethServer (This one can’t be removed without REALLY scewing up your system!).
Hope this helps!
My 2 cents
Andy
PS:
RSAT for Win7 is available as seperate download, for Win10 it’s available under additional components under applications…
Thanks, I have installed the phpldapadmin tool and it works great.
I appreciate the help.
David
