This is the correct configuration if nextcloud is configured without virtual host.

If nextcloud is configured with a virtualhost, make sure to add the host name as alias of the server (otherwise name resolution could not work) and add the same name to “Trusted domains” inside Cockpit Nextcloud app.
In this case, the correct configuration is (just tested):

Are you sure to have set /remote.php/webdave insidethe Path option in WebTop? Please note there is no /nextcloud prefix in it.

The server alias is good.

But you can’t grep the webtop log: it’s a java application which dump the stack trace.
We need the stack trace generated when accessing the nextcloud webdav share.

Inside webtop itself, look and screenshot here: Webtop nextcloud integration fails - #8 by giacomo

Keep /var/log/webtop/webtop.log open if tail -f /var/log/webtop/webtop.log, go to webtop, add the nextcloud resource and when the “Error” dialog appears, see what pops out inside the log.
Past it here.

It’s wrong.

If nextcloud is configured with a virtualhost, you have to use the host name inside the Host field.

after several tests I was able to replicate your problem and probably understand what you are missing…

Check that you have also added the virtual host configured for your nextcloud among the server aliases:

Once this is done, try to recreate the link on the webtop to the nextcloud resource using these settings necessarily:

Let me know how it goes.

I did it some times ago. Perhaps a possible reason for my problems?

Does your password contains the hash character?
