Hi Michael,

The client is configured as follows: Gateway = Proxy, First DNS = the domain controller, Second DNS = proxy.

The Proxy is configures as follows: Gateway = Proxy, First DNS = the domain controller / DNS server, the second DNS = nothing (as per previous test to remove 8.8.8.8)

The DC is configured as follows: Gateway = Proxy, First DNS = proxy, Second DNS = 8.8.8.8.

I think you have got it!

Some of the addresses do and some don’t. I have done a fair amount of research and apparently the reverse lookup on my side is broken. As a result, NethServer’s ip2name is working fine, the reverse is the issue.

I really want to thank you for your time on this. Had you not guided me through these steps I don’t think I would have worked it out. Every looked like it was fine on the DC and was working as expected. But I was wrong.
