Trying to add a linux mint 20 machine to the domain is failing to join
If i run the realm discover command it shows the correct domain. However when i run realm join domain i get a failure on the LDAP DSE “IP”. The ip it is looking at is not part of the new domain, its part of the old nt4 style domain. I can seem to find where it is pulling that ip from. I have the correct dns entry in /etc/resolv.conf. Anyone have any ideas? This is our last step to production. The windows machines join fine.
