Sonicle Assistant

Hello!

I have installed Notifier (SonicleAssistant) and cannot connect to server.
I added the email server URL to the Exception Site List of Java Control Panel, but the error is still present (Windows 10 Pro with latest updates, Java 8 Update 261 build 1.8.0_261-b12).
In the past, I used this add-on, w/o problems.
Does anybody else has this issue?

Gabriel

Check if “TLS Policy” is configured as “Upstream default policy”

Hi @saitobenkei,

Thank you for your answer.
I’m using 2020-05-10 only TLS 1.2.
I changed the policy as you said, w/o success.
Gabriel

I just tried:

username: user@domain.tld
password: userpassword
server: mail.domain.tld

And it works

I have tried …

Try without https:// in server field.
Write only mail.gtbs.ro

I have tried, I think, all possible combinations …
The server is in DMZ but I can access it (webmail, TB IMAP, TB POP3, Outlook, Nextcloud mail, …).
Everything works but SonicleAssitant.
Is not a big deal but is frustrating …

Finally it works, after I deleted Temporary Internet Files from Java Control Panel.

But:

  1. username: user@domain.tld even the message is “Only letters …”
  2. warning message in Cockpit → TLS Policy: “Please, review the following settings: TLS policy : The default policy may use weak encryption protocols and ciphers”

Thank you for your time!
Best regards,
Gabriel
