You’re funny!

I will try !

I modified only the template and then I run signal-event firewall-adjust. No tracert.

Maybe it would devel ticket and I try to add tcpdump. @GG_jr reinstall NS and than we try ones more

Hi Nas,

You are right! The issue is from ISP (how the connections are made in their network).

After many hours spent online with Nas (his work and his knowledge not mine) and after a fresh install from scratch of the NS (also reset the router), I verified again tracert command with 3 types of connections:

  1. My laptop connected through PPPoE - OK
  2. My laptop connected through wireless router (PPPoE) - fail
  3. My laptop connected through NS: GREEN, BLUE -> RED (PPPoE) - fail

I also tested with my laptop connected through USB Wireless Stick (ZTE MF110) - OK

My conclusion: No issues with NS or NS modules/packages: PPPoE, Bridge, Web proxy, etc.

Can be this issue solved?
There are many people with this type of connection at home and also at small offices (they don’t want to pay for business connection).

Can we treat this post [SOLVED]?

make tcpdump on server and after it attach to the forum :
run tcpdump -vvv -i any -s 1600 icmp -w /tmp/tracert
then run tracert 8.8.8.8 from laptop
when tracert finishes abort tcpdump on server
copy WINSCP from /tmp/tcpdump and attach it to forum

Ok,
The file opened from /tmp with WinSCP looks weird.
So, I run on server: tcpdump -vvv -i any -s 1600 icmp and then I took print screens with Snipping Tool.

I attached all files.

Use wireshark to look at this file:)

Hi Nas!
Hi everybody!

The issue was solved!
It was my fault and apologize for this!

I realized the problem when I started the laptop (multiple OS: Ubuntu, Win 7, Win 8.1) with Ubuntu (no av, no fwl).

Usually, I use my laptop with Win 8.1 where I have installed Bitdefender Internet Security 2015.
When I installed Bdf, I set that Bdf Firewall to replace Windows Firewall.
Bdf Fwl had set a rule to allow ping but not for tracert.
With Bdf Fwl Off everything it’s OK! Even with Win Fwl On, tracert works.

Kind regards,
Gabriel
