NethServer Version: NS8 Sogo 5.12.9 Today I noticed a bug that I hadn’t noticed before. A user wanted to set up an out-of-office message in Sogo and found that it wasn’t possible—you can’t save anything after making changes. What can I do?

[image] hucky: Maybe this shows what i mean. if i change something else like the language, i can save it, if i go to the vacation and click it to habe an autoresponder, the save button is out [Capture vidéo du 2026 08 18 12 40 02]

adapt the path to something existing  it is pseudo code the sieve folder is used by sogo to make the vacation message it is a feature of dovecot not really of sogo and this feature can be taken by roundcubemail or webtop

You mean to an existing mailbox, right? ls -la /path/2/Uli/folder ls: /path/2/Uli/folder: No such file or directory /var/lib/vmail #

The path for user Uli is /var/lib/vmail/Uli. With following command you can check the permissions: ls -la Uli Uli/sieve

runagent: [INFO] starting bash -l runagent: [INFO] working directory: /home/mail1/.config/state [mail1@ns8 state]$ podman exec -ti dovecot ash /var/lib/vmail # ls -la Uli Uli/sieve ls: Uli: No such file or directory ls: Uli/sieve: No such file or directory /var/lib/vmail #

/var/lib/vmail # ls -la stephane/sieve/ total 20 drwx------ 3 vmail vmail 4096 Aug 14 16:10 . drwx------ 5 vmail vmail 4096 Aug 14 16:10 .. -rw------- 1 vmail vmail 18 Mar 11 14:13 dovecot.orig.sieve -rw------- 1 vmail vmail 19 Mar 11 14:13…

[image] stephdl: ls -la stephane/sieve ash: dir: not found /var/lib/vmail # ls -la uli/sieve total 4 drwx------ 3 vmail vmail 35 Dec 12 2024 . drwx------ 4 vmail vmail 78 Mar 24 2025 .. -rw------- 1 vmail vmail 116 Dec 12 2024 sogo.sieve …

runagent -m mail1 podman exec -ti dovecot ash cat uli/sieve/sogo.sieve This shows the current Sieve script stored for that mailbox. If there’s anything with a personal email address inside, please redact it before pasting. Then, still as root on the NS8 host, please reproduce the problem (open the…

Hallo @stephdl @mrmarkuz Thank you for your support. I have no idea how to fix this. It is vor every Mailbox at this and another System. runagent -m mail1 runagent: [INFO] starting bash -l runagent: [INFO] working directory: /home/mail1/.config/state [mail1@ns8 state]$ podman exec -ti dovecot as…

[image] stephdl: Last thing: can you confirm whether the same vacation save fails for another mailbox too, or only for this one user? do you have to something to say ? also how many worker for how many users

[image] hucky: you can’t save anything after making changes. What can I do? can you explain better, I suspect a user’s issue once I checked the button I have to let a reply message to see the button save [image]
