I’d like to open port 139 for samba connections from a webserver in a DMZ (specific IP) to an internal file server.
Which are the commands to make that permanent?

Just install the firewall module from the Software Center and you will be able to create the rule directly from “Firewall rules” page.
No, thanx. I’ll rather disable shorewall completely. I do not need it anyway since the file server sits behind a Sophos firewall.
Obviously there are many people who use Nethserver as a VM in a larger environment. It would be good to be able not only to stop but to disable the firewall service in the GUI.
