Pulledpork: FATAL: 500 error occured - Following 6.8 Updates

Getting that message in /var/log/messages once a day ever since my update to NS and CentOS 6.8.

Can’t see which other log might contain any more details.

I have the IPS module installed, but it’s turned off currently because of the bandwidth hit when active.

Cheers.

Is it the same problem already reported here?

Doesn’t look like it. I get this message:

pulledpork[24719]: FATAL: 500 error occured

And it’s every day when the cron job runs.

Cheers.

The error number (500) is the same, I suspect it’s a similar problem.
@EddieA, could you please try the workaround described in the issue (creating an host named snort.org with ip 104.16.62.75.)?

OK, will try and report back tomorrow. But doing a lookup on snort.org, I already see that IP:

[root@NethServer ~]# host snort.org
snort.org has address 104.16.63.75
snort.org has address 104.16.62.75
snort.org has address 104.16.64.75
snort.org has address 104.16.65.75
snort.org has address 104.16.66.75
<snip>

Cheers.

Nope, still reported the error with that line in /etc/hosts.

Cheers.
