Ppp0 goes missing during initial config

Hi,

I’m a first time user of nethserver.
I am upgrading my aging clearos 6 installation to the latest nethserver installation because of the ease to configure things.

Yesterday I wanted to cut over from clearOS to nethserver, but I can’t seem to get the PPPoE working correctly. When I reconfigure my second NIC to a red interface and select PPPoE and fill in all my details it reconfigures the NIC to the correct type, but it goes to a missing state and I can’t get it to connect to the internet. Am I missing something?
