I do have a couple with an age old Java IPMI… Agreed, a real PITA…
But most Proxmox run on HP Hardware (At my clients) and almost all have way newer HP ILO. That’s their “branded” IPMI - “integrated Lights Out” , implying that the lights in an empty server room do not need to go on… :slight_smile:

My OPNsense also does not have an IPMI, but due to where Internet comes in in my home, it’s right next to the telly in the living room, never a long distance away… :slight_smile:

Bragging’ myself for updating a .NET/Java ILO with a much more fun HTML5. :wink:

Good deal. I don’t think either Dell (for the C6100) or SuperMicro (for their X9 boards) have that option.

HP, firmware update. Sic and simpliciter… Maybe looking deep enough (at least for Dell) may provide something interesting.
